This position will be located inBellevue, NE supporting Unites States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) on the GlobalAdaptive Planning Collaborative Information Environment (GAP CIE) contract.


 


GAP CIE is a web-based, collaborativeJoint Operation Planning (JOP) tool that supports distributed participants inmultiple security enclaves. Software engineers work as part of an empowered,cross-functional scrum team responsible for creating high-quality products forUSSTRATCOM.


 


Roles and Responsibilities:


 


• Engineer quality systems forUSSTRATCOM


 


• Define technical approaches tomeet complex software and system requirements


 


• Demonstrating working software tothe customer


 


• Provide engineering leadershipwithin the scrum team

Basic Qualifications:


  • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relatedfield and at least 10 years of experience in the software/informationtechnology industry (some development experience a plus). 

  • Experience communicating with customers, other technicalteams, proactively identify and resolve issues, collect and refinerequirements, describe software product features, technical designs, andcoordinate a product strategy

  • Ability to be a technical leader and mentor on a cross-functionScrum team focused on quality and capability delivery

  • Experience with the following technologies and practices


    • Linux experience such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

    • Java EE development and administration

    • JavaScript frameworks and Typescript

    • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery and DevOps

    • Distributed version control (Git, Mercurial)

    • Web services

    • Test automation

    • Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, ExtremeProgramming

    • Atlassian toolset such as Jira, Fisheye


  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance


 


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with USSTRATCOM applications and integrationof data services

  • Experience with VMware

  • Experience with Relational and Graph Databases

  • Experience with Java EE administration

  • Familiarity with Oracle Service Bus, enterprise-classSOA enterprise service bus (ESB)

  • Familiarity with Authentication and single sign-on(Oracle Access Manager (OAM))

  • Familiarity with Angular / Angular JS / Typescript

  • Familiarity with Docker / OpenShift / Kubernetes

  • Familiarity with Kafka / Zookeeper / Consul

  • Familiarity with Microservices / Service-orientedArchitecture

  • Familiarity with secure software development practices /Secure Software Lifecycle Development

  • Familiarity with SSL/TLS

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance




Qualifications

  • Experience with the following technologies and practices
