Job Description

Northrop Grumman MissionSystems is looking for mid to senior level systems/software integrator and  multi-disciplined IT professional who will beresponsible for the successful transition of a legacy intelligence applicationto upgraded hardware platforms, allowing for the continued operations of theapplication on the production environment.

Tasking will include investigatingand documenting the existing architecture, data sources, data flow, softwareprocessing, and customers of the data; reporting on potential issues and makingrecommendation for improvements with the architecture, software, and data flow;performing minor software and script updates in support of upgrading to newhardware and operating systems; generating documentation and testing in supportof the customer's Risk Management Framework (RMF ) process to obtain therequired Approval to Operate (ATO) for the upgrade environment; and supportingsystem configuration and data migration of the existing system to the newhardware.

The candidate must be aself-starter, have strong verbal and written skills, be willing to workindependently and interface the customer. The candidate must have a TopSecret/SCI clearance and must have or be in the process of obtaining aSecurity certification. Previous work on other intelligence programs isdesired and candidates willing to work at the government facility in Bellevue,Nebraska are preferred.


Basic Qualifications: 

This position may be filled at a level 3 or 4 depending on the qualifications of the candidate.

Bachelor's 5 years of related experience (STEM Science, Technology, Engineering, Math– highly preferred), 3 years and a Master's Degree, 9 years of total experience may be considered

Bachelor's 9 years of related experience (STEM Science, Technology, Engineering, Math– highly preferred), 7 years and a Master's Degree, 13 years of total experience may be considered

Technical experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility
Ability to investigate and document system architectures
Experience with software development approaches
Experience performing system and database administration in a Linux environment
Experience working with customers of software systems
Experience working on systems with multiple security domains
Possess active TS/SCI
Willing to go through Polygraph process

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in virtualized environments such as AWS
Experience with software and script development
Security Certified
Experience generating technical documentation in support of obtaining an ATO
Familiar with government RMF process
Familiar documenting and testing system security controls.
